Cloudjumpers are large felines that bound with a cat’s grace through the branches. Bred from pack-hunting big cats they may be gentle but swift for fast travel, or more muscular and with a vicious streak as the mount of a warrior.
Some believe that they get their name from the lightness with which they spring from tree to tree, but others are convinced it refers to the large quantities of fluffy fur surrounding their bodies making them look rather like clouds. No amount of selective breeding seems to have reduced this downy ball significantly, despite colouration now ranging from the naturally occurring dark green with yellow stripes to pure black and pure white, and even some shades of pale purple or mauve.
